BioDB Extractor

Even though many search utilities available on WWW for various Bioinformatics databases, these are not fully customizable for search and retrieval of specific subsets of data in batch mode. BioDB Extractor (BDE) provides customized search utilities for widely used Bioinformatics databases through web-based user interface.

Databases included in current version of BDE:

Nucleotide database: ENA

BDE-ENA Utility help page

Protein Sequence database: UniProtKB

BDE-UniProtKB Utility help page

Protein structure database: PDB

BDE-PDB Utility help page

Metabolic pathway database: KEGG

  • Provide the facility to retrieve desired subsets of data from respective databases in customized manner & download it.

  • Customizable batch retrieval system for all included databases.

  • Users need not  write any script to parse the subsets of data from database entry file/s.
